A presentation on our Percussion Ensemble course which focuses on the fundamentals of musical rhythm and time, with concepts such as time signatures, time keeping, doubling and halving, rhythmic reading, dynamics, composition and improvisation, and the subtleties of ensemble playing. Along with demonstrations of different styles of rhythm, from Swing, Samba, Bossa Nova to Songo, Bembe, Mambo and more.
